Jake Bynum writes under the pen name Jute Panama and lives in San Leandro, California with his family and a dim-witted dog named Lefty. A jack of all trades, he has worked as a software engineer, mechanic, artisan woodworker, and countless other jobs—each experience fueling the wondrous stories that live rent-free in his head. His writing is drawn to the fringe and the overlooked, finding color and vibrance in the strange corners of an otherwise cold, gray world.
